Pre-Registration
The pre-registration year provides trainees with the practical knowledge and skills that they need to cement their years of education and training in their undergraduate degree.
The aim of pre-registration training is to ensure that when trainees join the register, they are fit to carry out all the duties of a practising pharmacist.
Community pharmacy contractors provide pre-registration placements to trainees who have successfully completed their undergraduate degree.
Pre-registration information and the grant form for contractors can be found here.
Standards for pre-registration training can be accessed here.
